General terms and conditions
1. CONTENT OF THE SERVICE

- hereinafter referred to as "iTolmács" - its scope of activities includes the following services: professional translation, official-certified translation, localization of foreign language content, professional proofreading, mother tongue proofreading, post-certification, interpretation. This may be waived by individual agreement.
2. ORDER
ITolmács accepts translation orders by fax, letter, e-mail, in a confirmed oral order, or by filling in the Order Form on the website. In this case, the Client must specify the source and target language of the translation and / or interpretation, the nature of the translation and interpretation, the deadline for completion, the method of payment and receipt, and may send (recommended) the usual words and expressions in the given foreign language. . When sending the written order, the Customer automatically accepts the points included in these General Terms and Conditions, the Customer considers it to be read and acknowledged. Deviations from this can only be made in writing in writing, prior to order confirmation, with the written approval of iTolmacs. Knowledge of the GTC does not release you from the legal consequences detailed in this document.
Additional services can be ordered by individual agreement.
3. FULFILLMENT OF THE ORDER
ITolmacs is obliged to fulfill the order in accordance with the conditions set out in the order and / or the contract of assignment and, unless otherwise agreed, in accordance with the general terms and conditions stated here. ITolmacs translators and interpreters do the job to the best of their knowledge, with the expected accuracy.
Unedited translations are considered raw translations, ie translations of an informative nature.
4. CONTRACTUAL VALUE OF THE SERVICE
The contractual value for the services is invoiced at gross (27% VAT) according to the valid price list of iTolmacs. The character prices on the website are to be understood together with spaces. The Parties may deviate from the prices specified in the price list by mutual agreement. The price or unit price agreed in this way must be indicated in the order or in the order contract.
The written quote of iTolmacs is valid for fifteen business days.
If the Customer cancels the order within the validity period (but at least 4 working days from the delivery or service deadline), the Customer must reimburse iTolmacs for the work already completed and the related administrative and overhead costs. If cancelled within 4 working days from the delivery deadline, 50% of the total service fee will be charged, while within 2 working days, 100% of the total service fee will be charged. Weekends are not counted as workdays.
5. METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment for the service can be made in cash, by bank transfer, Paypal, or through OTP's online applications (Masterpass, Simple) and OTP's credit card payment system. The method of payment must be clearly indicated in the order and / or the contract of assignment. In all cases, the payment of the service fee on the online system or its bank transfer can only be initiated after the written confirmation of iTolmacs or the financial service provider (OTP, Paypal). Credit card and other online payments run on the financial service provider's own internal system, and do not see or store this data in iTolmacs' own system; it can not misuse it. In the case of a bank transfer, iTolmacs will send a Request for Invoice for the confirmed service fee within 24 hours, the transfer will be initiated based on this.
The Customer acknowledges that in the event of late payment, the Service Provider is entitled to charge twice the current central bank base rate as default interest.

6. OBLIGATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY
ITolmacs undertakes to keep the information and data obtained during the order strictly confidential and all employees of the company are obliged to maintain confidentiality. All data carriers handed over by the Client in connection with the work shall be treated confidentially and they shall be returned or destroyed to the Client in full at the same time as the performance.
7. WARRANTY
ITolmacs is obliged to fulfill the orders in good quality and on time. However, it is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or meaningless wording, as well as inaccuracies caused by concealed or erroneous information and data, such as inaccuracies resulting from the failure to provide specific technical terms and abbreviations.
If, in the opinion of the Customer, the performance is incomplete, it must be specifically justified in each case. In case of translation, a complaint can be submitted within 3 days from the submission of the work to the customer service of our company, at the above addresses (see headquarters).
ITolmacs must rectify any deficiencies that have been substantiated within a reasonable period of time. If the Customer does not require this, iTolmacs is released from its obligation to remedy the deficiencies. If iTolmacs fulfills its obligation to remedy the deficiency, the client is obliged to pay the full amount due for the service, unless the delay provably caused damage. In this case, the Parties shall reduce the amount to be paid by the Customer in proportion to the amount of the damage, but up to a maximum of 20%.
In the event of a minor translation error, no complaint can be submitted. In all cases, the spelling is considered to be a minor error, and in the case of an unedited translation, a non-confusing translation deficiency. ITolmacs will not be liable for any damages resulting from any misinterpretation of the translation.
8. COMPENSATION
The number of translation errors is compared to the total number of keystrokes, and if it reaches or exceeds the level set by the Association of Translation Agencies and is not corrected by the agreed deadline, we will provide compensation. The provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code shall govern the settlement of quality objections arising from the possible incorrect performance of the services.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
The occurrence of force majeure (unavoidable external cause) terminates the contract between iTolmacs and the Customer. In this case, iTolmacs is released from its liability for damages.
10. JURISDICTION
In the event of any dispute arising out of the agency contract, the Parties shall recognize the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the registered office of the Trustee.
11. VALIDITY
Unless otherwise agreed, the general terms and conditions stated here apply to the execution of orders in addition to the provisions of the order and the contract of assignment. The Parties may deviate from these in writing by mutual agreement.
